California Fun

We had fun in California, but were busy...lots going on. We had a Wedding and a 70th Birthday party. We got to see lots of family and friends...but still missed a lot of people too. Never enough time. It was fun...but we were beat.  Until our next trip...

Fun Run

Jake's school did a fundraiser called, The Apex Fun Run. Every student runs laps and gets pledges and the proceeds go to the school for different things; supplies, field trips, etc. Each class gets so much and they decide how to spend it. They wore shirts with numbers on the back and each time they completed a lap, there was an adult there to mark off the lap...that's how they kept track. Jake finished with 27 laps! He has been battling really bad allergies and we told him to walk if he needed to...but he said, no way...this is a race! It was a lot of fun! The whole school was really involved! Good Job Cambridge Academy! Thanks to all who made pledges on Jake's behalf.

Easter Blessings

We had a very low key Easter Sunday...Jake got a bad case of pink eye. But, the Easter Bunny stopped by, we colored our eggs, we had an easter egg hunt and enjoyed a delicious Turkey dinner. Sophie & I made it to church too. Thanks be to God!
