Never Smile at a Crocodile

Jake performed in his school musical...his class sang "Never smile at a Crocodile" from Peter Pan...so he got to dress like a Pirate...

Sophie does not like to wear dresses...she's most comfy in shorts and a t-shirt. On Mothers Day I begged her to wear a dress...she agreed but said she had to wear an under shirt because "dresses are itchy"

I feel very blessed to be a Mom everyday...but my kids and Deon made Mother's Day very special for me...I love my family!

Jake's class invited us to Donuts w/ Dad and Muffins w/ Mom. They presented us with a cookbook that the class put together...so sweet

Almost done with Kindergarten...

I feel like we just took this picture...the first day of Kindergarten last July!! And, in less than 2 weeks he'll be wearing his cap & gown and completing Kinder. Jake has learned so much this year. He can read, he can write, he even learned some Spanish. One of his goals was to be able to count to 100. Well, he reached that goal and then some. He had a wonderful teacher, Mrs. Bach...who we will miss. But, she will only be across the hall once he's in 1st grade so we'll get to say Hello. We had lots of fun at Cambridge...Holiday parties, field trips and activities. Jake, this is going so fast! I'm excited and a little nervous at the same time. I feel like I'm going to blink and you will be all grown up. So proud! So much love for you.

California Fun

We had fun in California, but were busy...lots going on. We had a Wedding and a 70th Birthday party. We got to see lots of family and friends...but still missed a lot of people too. Never enough time. It was fun...but we were beat. Until our next trip...
