Busted...again

Good Morning ya'll...took some pics of Sophie last night...couldn't resist! I put her hair in pony-tails yesterday, so this is how her hair turned out. Funny girl!

What a princess...she ate an ice-cream and had it all over her shirt, so we
were going to change her and she had a much better idea, to climb into the bottom drawer of my armoire
Hi Mom, Look at me...don't I look so cute? This little
  one is a character...never a dull moment.
Uh-oh, I better get out of here before Dad catches me...

Everyone have a happy and restful weekend.
Happy Mother's Day to all you mommy's out there.

Jake & Sophie got a BLOG

So, this is the start of my blog about our life w/ Jake & Sophie. After much persuasion from my dearest friend, Melissa...I had to get on it. There is absolutely no "ordinary" day with these two kids, so I felt I needed to share them with all of you. We are so in love and proud to have such beautiful and awesome children. I hope you enjoy. Please be patient while I get the hang of this blogging thang. Feel free to leave your comments, suggestions, family news, etc...                    Love, Roberta, Deon, Jake & Sophie

Here's Jake on his new scooter, sportin' his new helmet.
We got them on Sunday and the weather was pretty dreary that day,
so I let him ride inside (I know, all mom's are like "what"). So, anyway...
he kept that helmet on ALL day long, even watched TV with it.
It was too cute!

And, here's a close-up shot of 'the helmet'. My precious
boy, 3 years old. He's so smart, full of questions, his vocabulary
is growing daily, crazy Jake...I love him so much.
And here's Sophie....

Busted! Sophie figured out how to climb up onto her bench.                                           Ok..."I'm up here, now what?" Little munchkin!

Well, this is what! She thought she was so funny. And
even more funny was this. A couple weeks ago, Jake & Dad
taught Sophie how to dance while they kept saying, "get down, get down".
So, Dad busted Sophie up there and said, "Sophie, GET DOWN!"
Well, she did the only natural thing and started Dancing (gettin' down).
Too cute!

Just to update you all; Jake is now 3 years old. He is the cutest kid. He
has the most wonderful, curious imagination. He loves trucks, cars, tractors (esp. Jon Deere), and Handy Manny. His personality is so sweet. He's very affectionate and protective of his sis. They really love each other. Sophie is 1 and the girl has got 'attitude'. She's a feisty one and knows what she wants! She eats whatever you put in front of her, although, you can't feed her, she can only feed herself, si tu Ms. Independent! She's got a beautiful smile and looks just like her Dad. And, did I mention, SHE'S INTO EVERYTHING!

Until next time...
