S keeping up w/ her bro in backyard

So, we're out in the backyard and Miss S is trying to keep up w/ her bro. S, you're barely walking, have no shoes on...but you don't care. Walking on the walks with ease. You are too funny. Look at you here holding a soccer ball. Maybe you'll be a soccer player?
And, J...he just goes about his business, playing and running and jumping all around you.

"GET ME OUT OF THIS CHAIR, I'm ready to go", is pretty much what you were trying to say.

J was piling up rocks, as usual, and there you go trying to help him. Once he'd fill up the bucket he would take it to the top of his slide and dump all the rocks down. He thought it was the most hilarious thing. And, in the next pictures, you'll see how dirty he got in the process. I guess it's a boy thing.

I absolutely love this picture of you S. You discovered the little play house and you loved it. You didn't come out for awhile and then you just sat down and relaxed. Look how you have your hands, you look like a little lady. Precious girl!

Here's the butt shot J! After the rocks slid down, so did you. Arg, what a mess.
Messy Marvin!

Yea, not a very lady like pose there S. But, you were having so much fun. Let's just say after this picture...you and your brother went straight to the bath tub. How many times do I have to say, "S, you can't eat rocks!"

Just some of the things we do, right kids? Thankful for technology and being able to document all of this stuff for J & S. It will be so fun to look back on it all with you both. Plus, I can embarrass you with some of these photos. :) It's all out of love, I PROMISE.

J, you began your home preschool program with mom this week. Our friend, Melissa started the program with her son and highly recommended it. Then we saw pictures on their blog and we were sold. Plus, since you are not in school right now and it's summer, I thought it would be something fun and educational for you and me to do together. The projects are very interesting and fun. You seemed to be very engaged and surprised/impressed me with your skills. So, here are some pictures of your work so far. So proud of you J! You are so smart! And, I love spending this time with you.

You paid attention! You followed instructions! You completed the projects. A job well done!

Look at this smart kid. Here you are in front of the wall we are using as our classroom. I look at you and think, where did the last 3 years go? How did you get so big, it's going too fast. But, you are so beautiful. And, I want to give you everything, every opportunity and feed your brain right now. So, that's why we're doing this. I hope you look back on these days and pictures with fond memories. I know I will.

After we were done, you had to go wash your hands since we had used some glue. Mr. Independent! And, Mr. Clean, just like Dad.

Thank you to The Smith Family, who got us started with our first box/month of projects. We will keep you posted on our activities and progress.

Couldn't forget our girl. She graciously took a long nap, so we could get started on our preschool program. Later, She enjoyed some tasty cheesy treats.
