Jake's 1st grade class field trip. We went ice skating at Polar Ice, then to the park for a picnic and playtime. We got to ride a bus which is always exciting for the kids. Definitely a good day!

Jake played in his first soccer tournament this weekend. He did really well and his team won 1st Place! Jake was so excited to get his first medal. I think this is the first of many tournaments and lots of soccer to come. We love watching Jake play! Go Jake! Go Jake!

Princess Celebration

How lucky is that, both grandparents in town to celebrate your Birthday. Lots of love, as always. Sophie was super excited to have a giant sleepover (as she put it). Everyone arrived on Friday, which was Pa's Birthday. So, we celebrated with a delicious steak dinner with all the fixin's and birthday cake. So good! Then the big royal Princess 5th Birthday Party. Complete with cupcakes, a princess bounce house, magic wands, a cupcake piñata and lots of presents! Sophie was definitely Princess for the day. We are so blessed to have such a loving family and wonderful friends/neighbors to share it with. God Bless our Princess Sophie today and always!

Birthday Celebration - Part 1

Ay, this girl! She's too much. Always making us laugh, keeping us on our toes and way too smart. But, we love you Sophie...we adore you and wish you a Happy 5th Birthday! I still can't believe you're 5! All I want you to know is that we love you, but most of all you are an amazing human being. I hope you continue to grow and learn to be a leader and a confident, strong person. You are such a loving, caring girl with a huge heart and I hope you always stay that way.
